Interdisciplinary Seminar

The interdisciplinary seminar of the California Forum is a space for the cultivation, exploration, and discussion of Lacanian psychoanalysis beyond the consultation room. With topics ranging from museums to topology, the seminar pursues the collaborative desire for psychoanalysis in extension by fostering participation from both clinicians and specialists.

The seminar is experimental, operates on a one-by-one basis, and generally seeks to provide quarterly gatherings. Meetings always have an online component so as to provide members of psychoanalytic communities internationally the opportunity to participate. For similar international reasons the seminar occurs from 11:00am to 12:30pm PST unless otherwise specified.
